Update Part Deaux

Okay, I'm really, really bad at this blogging thing. I need to become more consistent. Guess it would help if I remembered what my blog address was (smile). Anyway, I had hope this would be a great way to stay current w/family and friends as it's been many moons since I had a decent phone conversation w/o interruption from the little one. Now that baby #2 is on the way it seems more important than ever to have a way to update loved ones on current events and stay in touch. Will try this one more time....

Update...

So it's been almost a year since my last blog - hello?! Where did the time go. My new goal will be to post at least once a week no matter how mundane the topic. This is the closest thing that I have to a journal.

We're in construction hell right now converting our basement to a master bedroom in hopes of being blessed with another little Franco in the near future. Nali is 2 1/2 and busy, busy, busy. This summer is a little bittersweet. She starts nursery school in the fall. Although it's only 3 days a week - this is our last "unscheduled" summer together. Just the two of us, doing whatever we want, whenever we want. I know I will look back at this time and think - you had no idea how good you had it! :)

Our Second Christmas Together...

So the holiday season has officially arrived and I am so excited!!! You'd think it was my first Christmas!!! Giovanni and I bought our first Christmas tree ever and had a ton of fun decorating it. Nathalia is excited each morning to wake up to a real live (or maybe not so "live") tree in the house. Good times for all. It has been a challenge to avoid the rampant consumerism of the season but so far, so good. I was a bit sad after I finished wrapping all three of Nathalia's gifts. I did look around and think - is this it? Should I run out and buy something else? Hopefully, I won't.
